- Back to Buttocks: Sometimes back pain can travel or radiate to your buttocks and legs. This is a specific type of back pain that tends to occur when you aggravate a certain nerve in the lower back.
- Pain From Change: Many suffering with back pain find their pain worsens or gets better depending on the position their sitting or sleeping in. If your pain drastically changes from position to position, then a doctor or PT will be able to pinpoint your pain much better.
- Pain When Waking Up: If you have significant pain when waking up, but you feel better after waking up – that’s a typical type of pain. In fact, this is one of the most common back pain symptoms. Often, the stiffness is a result of less blood flow to the area.
- Muscle Spasms: Many people get muscle spasms in the lower back for one reason or another. These spasms can be excruciating and make living your daily life nearly impossible.
- Inability to Stand Straight: Sometimes your back pain gets so bad that you cannot even stand straight up without a sharp pain radiating through your spine. In times like these, you need to seek medical treatment – sooner rather than later.
